India offers many potential exporting opportunities for UK companies, which align with key regional sectors such as advanced engineering, digital and data services, fintech, food and drink, healthcare, logistics and renewable energy.

As a strategic convener for export, the Hull and East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (HEY LEP) is keen to build global links with a range of partners to help facilitate trade.

As the UK looks to start negotiations on a free trade agreement, HEY LEP spoke recently with colleagues at UK India Trade Portal, a new digital marketplace entry point and trade hub, which aims to facilitate trade between both countries.
