Thursfields advises on sale of Worcestershire company with huge property leased to Amazon

24th Jun

A Worcestershire property company that owned a huge urban logistics site in Droitwich leased to online retail giant Amazon has been successfully sold, thanks to expert advice from Thursfields Solicitors.

Gareth Burge and Robert Pettigrew, corporate and commercial property directors at Thursfields, along with corporate associate Joe Rollins, provided advice to the principal shareholders of PJM Properties (Droitwich).

The sale was to LondonMetric Property, a FTSE 250-listed real estate investment trust, for an undisclosed amount.

Mr Pettigrew said: “We were pleased to assist on this valuable sale of PJM Properties (Droitwich).

“The client’s key asset was the freehold ownership of a nine-acre urban logistics site that was subject to the lease to Amazon.

“It’s always crucial to take expert legal advice on corporate and property deals to ensure maximum value is extracted.”

LondonMetric Property plc was advised by Jones Day and Gowling WLG.

Anyone needing legal advice on corporate and commercial matters can contact Mr Pettigrew on 0345 20 73 72 8 or by emailing rpettigrew@thursfields.co.uk.
