The One Point named as customer service award finalist

02nd Mar

Hull-based IT and communications firm The One Point has been named as a finalist in the Customer Service category of the 2023 UK Mobile News Awards.

The award is an annual accolade given out by Mobile News Awards to recognise excellence in customer service within the mobile communications industry.

Winners are chosen based on their commitment to providing outstanding service to their customers with criteria such as:

  • Exceptional customer service strategies.
  • Innovative solutions to customer queries and complaints.
  • Real examples of how customers have benefited from the quality service.
  • Evidence of employee training and development initiatives.

This year’s awards will be presented at a gala black-tie dinner dance on March 16 at the Westminister Bridge Park Plaza Hotel.

A spokesman said: “The dedicated team behind The One Point takes a proactive approach to keeping customer satisfaction levels high and seeks feedback to continue delivering a service that continues to delight the businesses and organisations we work with.

“We are honoured to be recognised as a finalist for demonstrating excellence in customer service. We are also no strangers to recognition for exhibiting excellence in this area.”

In 2020 the company collected the Mobile News Awards winning trophy when its customer service was acknowledged as best in the industry.

It later then went on to be finalist for the 2020 Keeping Britain Working Award, before winning the 2021 HDM Customer Focus Award.

Additionally, The One Point won the O2 Directors Choice Partner of the Year Award in 2022 partly for exemplary customer service.
