Region’s largest careers event to welcome 3,500 young people

28th Feb

Celebrating returning for the second year of success and delivered by Prospects Events, Skills Humber 2020 is part of the Skills England series, the country’s largest series of skills events.
About 3,500 young people are expected to attend this year’s event, which will take place at the Bonus Arena on March 4-5.
It is being delivered in partnership with Hull City Council, Humber Local Enterprise Partnership and in association with North Lincolnshire Council, North East Lincolnshire Council and East Riding Council.
It aims to inspire young people and open their minds to the range of employment, training and learning options available in the region, and will also include a visit from Emma Hardy MP.
Skills Humber is free to attend and opens from 5pm-7pm on the Wednesday, and 9.30am-3pm on the Thursday, giving young people an opportunity to meet face to face with 60 exhibitors including potential employers, such as BP Chemicals, Elysium Healthcare, EY Buses, Maritime UK, NHS, Royal Air Force, and many more.
