Nifty CEO, Christian Collison, said: ‘”Edgbaston as a venue and the teams that call it their home are among some of the most iconic sporting names in the UK. We can’t wait to work alongside them during what is an exciting time in domestic cricket and one that is full of potential.

“Our aim is to be recognised as the UK’s leading marketing and communications agency by 2025 so to kick start the year partnering with a client as recognisable as this is fantastic and testament to the team.”

Tom Rawlings, head of media and communications at Edgbaston, said: “We’ve got great ambitions to expand our digital offering and, given the growth in content that we are now delivering, we want to develop a clear strategy for how we execute for each brand across each channel.

“We have been very impressed with the Nifty team and look forward to working them as we aim to give cricket fans the content that they are seeking and hopefully attract many more fans to the game.”

In addition to its programme of domestic cricket, Edgbaston has an unrivalled international cricket offering in 2022, including the England men’s Test match and T20 International against India, Vitality Blast Finals Day and the eight-day women’s T20 International tournament in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
