Nicol & Co is awarded double gold in national property awards

A Worcestershire estate agent has scooped two top honours in the UK’s biggest estate and lettings agency awards.

Nicol & Co struck ‘Gold’ for sales and lettings in the Property Academy’s national Best Estate Agent Guide Awards luncheon at the Evolution London venue in Battersea Park

Judges analysed all the UK’s 15,000-plus estate agents using more than three billion data points, one million listings, 30,000 survey responses and 2,887 web enquiries, with Nicol & Co’s performance resulting in the two awards.

Matt Nicol is managing director of Nicol & Co, which is based in Droitwich with two other offices in Worcester and Malvern.

He took a team of 10 staff down to enjoy what is also known as the EA Masters Awards, sponsored by Rightmove, one of the UK’s leading property portal websites.

Mr Nicol said: “We are delighted to have once again been recognised as among the best in the country after such a rigorous and independent assessment.

“Our double gold and top listing in the Best Estate Agent Guide shows that if anyone uses us to help sell or let a property then they can be confident that they’re dealing with one of the UK’s very best estate agents.

“I was thrilled to be able to take my team down for the awards as I’m very proud of all of them.

“Team GB Swimmer Tom Deane, himself a double Olympic gold medallist, was on hand for the presentation, which made the day even more memorable.”

The success at the EA Masters follows a Fundraising Champion Award that Nicol & Co won at a national estate agents’ charity ball last month.

This was in recognition of its commitment to donate £100 to charity from every completion on instructions received during the first lockdown.
