Merry Hill to welcome leading toy retailer Smyths Toys Superstores

02nd Nov

Children living in and around the area of Merry Hill are in for a treat when a new Smyths Toys Superstore arrives at the Brierley Hill shopping centre.

Located on the Upper Retail Park, by Homesense and The Range, the new superstore’s doors will open at 9am on November 5 with free candy floss and plenty of goodies to giveaway to shoppers.

On November 6-7 the party will continue with a number of special guests, including Chase and Rubble from Paw Patrol (Friday only) and Cocomelon’s JJ (Saturday only) and many more dropping by at various intervals between 9am and 4pm.

The new toy store adds to the already strong offering at Merry Hill, with a number of family brands, including Hamleys, Toytown and Mothercare, which returned inside Boots earlier this year.

Shane Foran, store manager said: “We’re delighted to be moving to a brand new Smyths Toys Superstore at Merry Hill. We are inviting everyone down to join us for the opening. There will be various giveaways and some great bargains you won’t want to miss out on so make sure you drop by.”

Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Smyths Toys Superstore. We know that many of our visitors will be looking forward to diving into their huge selection of must have toys. As a leading toy retailer, Smyth Toys will make a fantastic addition to the family brands at Merry Hill, and we know it will be very popular with our visitors.’’
