Bureau to support major east coast offshore wind farm project

04th Dec

The Triton Knoll project is owned by Innogy Renewables UK and its partners J-Power and Kansai Electric Power.
Under a framework agreement, Bureau will be working closely with Tim Wilkins, the project QA/QC manager, to provide critical resourcing to support the quality assurance, quality control and surveillance activities.
Bureau will source experienced engineers to undertake work around quality and production assurance services. The work carried out will cover the full range of inspection of plant and equipment.
David Blanchard, Bureau managing director, said: “The work we are doing with Triton Knoll reflects the unique approach of Bureau. We work with our customers on a long-term basis to understand their unique and complex resourcing and find the right people to undertake this often highly complex and critical work.”
Triton Knoll is located off the east coast of England, close to Lincolnshire and Norfolk.
The project consists of offshore and onshore electrical infrastructure that connects the wind farm to the electricity network. It is estimated that the average annual generation of electricity from the site could be equivalent to the domestic needs of 800,000 typical households in the UK.
