Bureau celebrates triple ISO certification

28th Jan

Hessle-based Bureau, a leading provider of technical services to the global energy sector, has been awarded a triple accreditation from Lloyds Register for its ISO quality management systems.

Lloyd’s Register is a leading independent provider of accredited certification services across a wide range of standards and schemes as well as customised assurance programmes. It is recognised by nearly 50 accreditation bodies worldwide, providing credibility to stakeholders worldwide through the LR brand.

By being awarded the triple certification – ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 – Bureau has shown that it consistently supplies services that meet customers’ requirements, proactively manages its environmental impact, and has a robust framework for the health, safety and well-being of employees and other stakeholders.

David Blanchard, managing director, said: “The implementation of an established management system enables us to demonstrate how we deliver excellent customer services as well as continually improving our internal processes to enhance the customer experience. We are delighted with this recognition.”

The scope of the certification for Bureau focuses on the provision of third-party vendor and source inspection. This includes but is not limited to vendor inspection, project management and expediting services, as well as the auditing and supply of Inspectors.

“This certification validates Bureau’s efforts in ensuring customer satisfaction while simultaneously promoting efficiency, efficacy and integrity in its business operations. This takes Bureau’s offering to the next level, giving customers the assurance they need,” said Tom Churchill, Bureau’s technical lead.

Peter Webb, management systems auditor at Lloyd’s Register, said: “Congratulations to everyone at Bureau on achieving this triple certification. It’s a big undertaking and it was clear during the audit how much hard work had gone into implementing an effective, integrated management system. I look forward to seeing what Bureau does next and wish them all the best for their future growth.”

This certification represents further success for Bureau, which is experiencing consistent international growth and is continuing to reinvest in its business to build a platform for accelerated development in 2021.
