Beal says ‘hello Goole’ with launch of largest development yet

20th Feb

Prospective buyers will have the opportunity to be among the first to reserve a new home at The Greenways at a launch event on Sunday, February 23, at the Lowther Hotel in Goole.
The Greenways will feature an extensive range of Beal’s in-house designed two, three and four-bedroom homes and will complement an ongoing wave of investment in the town.
Beal chief executive Richard Beal (left) said: “We’re excited to launch The Greenways and bring a great selection of luxurious but affordable new homes to Goole.
“This is our first development in the town so we’re saying ‘hello Goole’ and beginning what will be a long-term relationship with the local community.
“The Greenways will feature a wide range of properties, including many of our most popular house types, so there will be something to suit all types of buyers and budgets.
“This development will bring much-needed new contemporary homes to Goole, which will enhance significantly the quality, availability and choice for local families and people attracted to the area by the exciting economic growth being seen locally.”
The new homes will support the creation of hundreds of jobs in Goole, which has become a magnet for investment and is attracting ever-growing interest as a place to live, due to its location in an emerging community within easy reach of major cities and towns such as Leeds, York, Hull and Doncaster.
Major developments in Goole include a £200m Siemens Mobility rail manufacturing facility, which is expected to begin construction this summer, and a new worldwide distribution hub now being built for chemicals company Croda.
Mr Beal added: “The Greenways will provide a major economic boost for Goole – we will be investing more than £100m over the next 15 years.
“That means much-needed, high-quality homes for local people. It also means new jobs working directly with us or with local sub-contractors and suppliers.
“Over the course of the development, our investment will secure the employment of almost 2,500 people in construction and related roles and in the local community. It’s fantastic news for Goole and the region as a whole.”
The first phase of The Greenways consists of 206 homes off Rawcliffe Road. Ultimately 800 homes will be built, making it the award-winning housebuilder’s largest-ever development.
The scheme will be the largest residential development in the Goole area for many years, on a 73-acre site equivalent to almost 50 football pitches. The development will include the provision of a new primary school and additional open space.
Beal sales and marketing director Sue Waudby said: “We’re really looking forward to meeting prospective buyers at our launch event and revealing for the first time details of The Greenways and the selection of high-quality homes that will make up the development.
“The Greenways enjoys a great Goole location with excellent transport connections by road and rail. It’s the perfect setting for a wide range of buyers, including commuters, families and first-time buyers.
“At the launch event we’ll release the first homes and offer people the chance to be among the first to reserve.
“We’ve had a great deal of interest ahead of the launch and, with so much positivity around Goole as an investment location and up-and-coming place to live, we’re sure demand for the first homes will be very strong.”
As with all Beal developments, buyers at The Greenways will have the unique opportunity to work with the housebuilder’s expert designers to make their new home fit their lifestyle and tastes perfectly. Under the “Beal Experience”, every homebuyer works with Beal’s design team to develop a bespoke internal layout and select from an extensive, high-quality range of fixtures, fittings and finishes.
The launch of The Greenways comes at an exciting time for Beal Homes as the East Yorkshire-based housebuilder realises its ambition to build more than 300 homes annually across its portfolio of developments.
