The XL Food and Drink Show, on Thursday, September 19, will attract pub, restaurant, hotel, café, fast food, education and care home caterers from right across the Yorkshire and Humber region, as well as neighbouring counties, who will flock to the area’s newest venue to check out the latest food trends.

More than 90 food and beverage manufactures will exhibit on the day, including many of the UK’s largest food service brands such as Unilever Food Solutions, Lamb Weston and Whitby Seafoods.

At the same time, a number of new manufacturing partners will be exhibiting at the XL Food and Drink Show for the first time. These include Essential Cuisine, Broderick Brothers and Bonta Italia, who were established by Gino D’Acampo and Marco Silvagni.

All will be showcasing their latest product ranges and hoping to encourage visitors to try their food, drink and ingredients, and incorporate them into their menus. The products would then be distributed by local business Turner Price.

To help visitors find what they are looking for, seven Trend Tours have been specially devised for the event. Tom English of Turner Price said: “Caterers are under continuous pressure to innovate and update their menus to meet emerging food trends. We have decided to help our guests navigate their way through the day with the help of seven Trend Tours.

“Each tour takes a particular theme, such as Vegan, On-the-go and Sustainability and lists the exhibitors who have something special to offer in that regard. Other tours are designed for specific categories of caterer – such as school and care home caterers.

“We are confident that they will make a welcome addition to this year’s show.”

Turner Price’s Christmas brochure will be launched at the show, and a range of exclusive deals and offers will be available to visitors. The company’s fresh produce – including meat, fruit, vegetables and prepared vegetables – will also be showcased, alongside their recently launched website. This is designed to make ordering quick and easy, as well as to provide useful information to caterers of all kinds.

Commercial caterers from any establishment, whether or not they are customers of Turner Price, are welcome to attend on the day.
